Yes, I am an Ichthyologist (which is a fancy term for “fish biologist”). I work primarily with air-breathing fishes, and most of my research is based on evolutionary paradigms concerning the rise of Devonian tetrapods. Basically, I try to figure out what environmental factors lead to fish crawling out of the water and start behaving like squirrels.
