True, true...It was the best time in my life, actually. I learned more from my time out in the Caribbean than I ever have at University (biologically speaking). I had a great mentor out there - a true island gentleman, poet, philosopher named Hutch. He's the one who gave me the nickname "Shaymus". I don't believe he's still with the Cruiseline (Norwegian), but wherever he is, I'm sure he's enriching somebody's life. Anyway, the answer is "yes" I was a dive instructor for a stretch, and it was great fun.
